Gaia Academy:
Training & Curriculum

At the Gaia Academy we offer an increasing range of curriculum, learner courses, CPD and free resources to support schools, learners and families.

Gaia Academy courses are designed to be flexible, engaging, and adaptable for different learners and learning styles. Whether studying independently, with parental support, or in a classroom setting with a teacher or teaching assistant.

Our learner facing courses provide interest-based, self-paced learning experiences that help students build confidence while staying motivated and engaged.

Gaia Academy Inclusive Curriculum

At Gaia Learning, we’ve developed an accessible, inclusive curriculum for Years 7–9, across the following subjects:

English • Maths • Science • Digital Literacy & PSHE • Global Perspectives & Climate Action • Art & Design • History

Built on the Cambridge Curriculum framework, our curriculum includes clear learning objectives, differentiated assessment rubrics, and detailed lesson plans designed to support learners with special educational needs (SEN) and neurodiverse profiles.

It’s been thoughtfully designed for educators and families supporting young people in a variety of settings—including schools, tutoring, and home education.

From September 2025, every Gaia topic is also available as a learner-facing, self-paced course—ideal for homeschooling, flexible schedules, or catch-up. These versions mirror the live curriculum and include rubrics, suggested activities, and support for independent learning.

Subjects & Units are available to buy for September 2025/6 Academic years. To purchase please contact us.

Flexible 3-yr curriculum journey

Our curriculum is built as a three-year spiral, allowing learners to join at any point and still experience the full range of topics over time. While topics don’t repeat, learners can revisit areas if more time or support is needed—deepening their understanding and progressing at their own pace.

This structure is ideal for personalised education, catch-up learning, and mixed-ability classrooms. Whether a learner joins in Year 7, 8 or 9, they will access a rich, full learning journey over the course of the cycle.
